Questions

Answered plainly, including the ones that are not yet yes.

A marketplace can tell you anything. These are the answers we can stand behind today, and where the honest answer is "not yet", that is what it says.

How much will my clean cost?

The cleaner sets the price, not us, so there is no rate card to quote before a job exists. Ask for a clean and you will be given their figure before you commit to anything. Nothing is added on the day, and asking costs nothing.

Does it cost me anything to ask for prices?

No. There is no booking fee and no card needed to ask. You only ever pay the cleaner, for work you have accepted.

Are the cleaners insured and checked?

Every cleaner on the platform is an independent business carrying its own public liability insurance, and the certificate sits on file with an expiry date. A listing with no current certificate stops appearing in results automatically on the day it lapses. For move-out and end of tenancy work we also require a current police check.

When and how do I pay?

You pay the cleaner directly when the work is done. We never hold client money and we never take a payment from you. The price you agreed with the cleaner is the whole of what you owe.

What if I am not happy with the clean?

Tell us within seven days of the job and we will arrange for the area that was missed to be put right. Telling us is better than accepting it, because the cleaner's record on the platform depends on jobs being done properly.

What if the cleaner cannot make it?

Their available times are their own, and if something changes you will hear from them directly. Tell us as well, and we will put the job back in front of the other cleaners who cover your area rather than leaving you to start again.

How soon will I get prices?

There is no fixed window, and we would rather not invent one. Where cleaners are working your area you will usually hear quickly. Where nobody covers you yet, we would rather tell you plainly than let a request sit unanswered, so post it anyway and we will say so.

Do you cover my city?

We are opening markets city by city, starting with areas where we can recruit and verify cleaners. If your area is not open for bookings yet, register your interest: it helps us understand where customers and cleaners are waiting.

Can I get a regular cleaner?

Yes. Ask for a regular home clean and say how often, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Cleaners who want that kind of recurring work quote it, and the same cleaner can keep it, so they learn the house instead of being told where things live every visit.

Do I need to be at home while they clean?

That is between you and the cleaner, and you will agree it directly when you accept their price. Plenty of people leave a key or an entry code arrangement, and plenty stay. Either is normal.

Do I need an account?

Not to ask for prices. You give an email so cleaners have somewhere to send their figures, and that is all. You can set a password afterwards if you want to come back and manage it.

How does Black Wolf make money?

The client pays the cleaner directly. For jobs Black Wolf brings, we separately charge the cleaner a 25% commission after payment; a qualifying first job from a customer the cleaner brings has 0% commission. There is no booking fee to the client, no listing fee and no monthly charge to a cleaner.

I am a cleaner. How do I join?

You need a business number, your own public liability insurance, your own equipment, and a police check for move-out work. You will also be told the truth about the work available in your city before you sign up, because signing cleaners into an area with no demand is how marketplaces waste people's time.

Is there a contract or a minimum term?

No. No minimum term and no contract for either side. A cleaner can decline any job, and a client can stop asking at any time.
